Can i drink wine in pregnancy?

At a recent party, someone offered me a glass of wine, but I politely refused because I'm pregnant. My sister said a small glass occasionally won't hurt. Is it ever okay to drink wine in pregnancy?

My family elders and my doctor both strictly advised against any alcohol during pregnancy. Even a small glass of wine is not considered safe as there is no proven safe limit for the baby. It is best to avoid it completely for these few months.

Honestly, why take the risk with alcohol? If you want to celebrate, just get some sparkling apple juice or a nice mocktail. It looks just like wine, keeps you happy, and is 100% safe for the baby.

I had a lot of social events during my pregnancy and faced this peer pressure. I just ordered cranberry juice in a wine glass and nobody knew the difference. Please avoid real wine completely, it's just not worth the risk.

My wife accidentally had half a glass of wine before we knew she was pregnant, and we panicked so much. The doctor reassured us that early on, it rarely causes issues, but told us to strictly stop immediately. So don't worry if it happened by mistake, but definitely avoid it now.
