Can i drink mint tea during pregnancy?

I've been experiencing a lot of bloating and indigestion during my pregnancy. My mother suggested drinking mint tea for relief. Is it safe to drink mint tea during pregnancy, or should I avoid it? I usually find it very soothing for my stomach.

You don't need to buy those expensive packaged mint tea bags online. Just boil fresh pudina leaves from your local vegetable vendor in water at home. It is extremely cheap and works perfectly for morning nausea.

I tried so many things for my second trimester acidity, and fresh mint tea was a true blessing. Just simmer a few mint leaves in warm water. Don't make it too strong, and limit it to one cup a day.

I literally just delivered my baby last month and drank mint tea throughout my third trimester. It really helped with my bloating and indigestion. Just keep it moderate, one cup is more than enough.

Be careful with herbal teas during pregnancy because some herbs can cause uterine contractions if taken in excess. Don't trust random internet blogs saying herbal teas are 100% safe. Always verify with your doctor first.

Drink up! Mint tea is basically warm, healthy mouthwash that actually tastes good and stops you from throwing up. Just don't start drinking gallons of it.

I am in my first month and very scared of trying new things. Is it okay to add a little honey to mint tea, or should we avoid sweeteners completely right now? Please guide me.

I was looking this up for my cousin who is expecting. Most medical sites say peppermint tea is generally safe in moderation, but too much can trigger acid reflux in some women. Better to start with a very light brew.

I suffered from severe morning sickness and peppermint tea was my savior. My tip is to drink it lukewarm, not piping hot, as hot liquids can sometimes trigger reflux. One cup in the morning works best.
