Can i drink coconut water in fever?

My son has a high fever for the last two days, and he's not eating much. My mother-in-law suggested giving him coconut water to keep him hydrated. Is it okay if he drinks coconut water in fever, or should I stick to plain water? I just want him to feel better soon.

Yes, you can absolutely drink coconut water during a fever; it is highly effective for hydration and replenishing lost electrolytes.

I have a mild fever today and my mom offered me coconut water, but I am thoda scared that its cold nature might worsen my cold or throat infection. Has anyone else drank it during high fever without getting a worse cough?

Coconut water is excellent for bringing down body heat and keeping you hydrated during a fever. But keep it at room temperature, don't drink it cold from the fridge. If your fever goes very high or doesn't drop in two days, please see a doctor immediately.

Yes, coconut water is a great natural drink during fever as it provides instant potassium and hydration when you can't eat solid foods. Just make sure it is fresh and fresh-cut, avoid the packaged ones with added preservatives or sugar.
