Can i drink chamomile tea during pregnancy?

I've been feeling very stressed lately, and chamomile tea usually helps me relax. Now that I'm pregnant, I'm not sure if it's safe for me. Can I drink chamomile tea during pregnancy, or should I find other ways to relax? I don't want to take any risks.

I am thoda confused about herbal teas during pregnancy. I read that chamomile is good for sleep, but some sites say herbal teas can be risky. Is it safe if I just drink a very light cup at night occasionally?

I love trying different floral teas, but chamomile is one herb you should be a bit careful with during pregnancy. A small cup once in a while is okay, but don't drink it like regular water. Stick to simple ginger-lemon water for your evening cravings instead!

I totally relate to wanting a warm cup of herbal tea to relax, especially with all the pregnancy sleep issues! While occasional chamomile is usually fine, some doctors advise avoiding it in large amounts because it can act as a uterine stimulant. Better to check with your gynecologist first.

If you are drinking chamomile tea, please ensure you aren't adding extra sugar or honey to it, especially if you need to monitor your glucose levels. It is best to consult your healthcare provider before introducing any herbal extracts to your daily routine.

Staying active and walking daily is the best way to get good sleep naturally instead of relying on herbal teas. Since chamomile safety in pregnancy is still a bit debated, I'd suggest sticking to a 20-minute gentle walk in the evening to wind down.
