Can high prolactin cause hair loss?

I've been experiencing significant hair loss, and my recent tests showed high prolactin levels. Is there a connection between high prolactin and hair loss? I'm really worried about my hair thinning.

I had hormonal issues too, and once my doctor adjusted my meds, she highly recommended daily walking and light exercise to keep stress and hormones in check. Proper physical activity helps balance things out, though you must treat the prolactin medically first.

Yes, elevated prolactin can absolutely lead to hair thinning because it messes up your body's hormone levels. Don't waste money on fancy shampoos. Go directly to an endocrinologist, get a blood test, and treat the hormonal imbalance from the root.

My grandmother used to suggest using home-made coconut oil with curry leaves for hair fall, which is very good. However, for a hormonal issue like high prolactin, medical treatment is essential. Please consult a qualified endocrinologist.

Haan, bilkul ho sakta hai. Jab hormones gadbad hote hain toh baal jhadte hi hain. Bahar ke mehnge serum lagane se kuch nahi hoga, pehle doctor se prolactin ki tablet likhwao. Sath mein ghar ka healthy khana khao aur badaam lo.

I totally understand how stressful it is to watch your hair fall out every day, it literally made me cry. But please know that once your prolactin levels are controlled with medication, the hair loss stops and it actually grows back. Hang in there.

Since I deal with PCOS, I know how devastating hormonal hair loss can be. High prolactin is often linked with other endocrine issues. Please don't self-treat with random hair oils; consult a specialist who can check your complete hormone profile safely.
