Can hair removal cream cause cancer?

I prefer using hair removal creams for convenience over waxing or shaving, but I saw something online that mentioned chemicals in them could be linked to cancer. Is there any truth to this claim, or is it just a rumour I shouldn't worry about?

Arre, relax! If hair removal creams caused cancer, half of the country would be in trouble by now. They just dissolve the hair on the surface using chemicals, which might cause a burn if left too long, but definitely not cancer.

Haan na, people read random things on WhatsApp and get so scared! These creams are tested and safe for external use, though they can cause skin allergies if you have sensitive skin. Always do a small patch test on your hand first, ho na.

Honestly, I barely have the energy to use a razor, let alone worry about cream chemicals causing major diseases. There is no scientific proof linking these creams to cancer. Just don't leave it on for longer than the box says unless you want a nasty chemical burn.

I have been using various hair removal creams for over twenty years now and never faced any major health issues other than occasional dryness. They are formulated for safe cosmetic use. Just buy trusted brands and follow the instructions carefully.

These modern chemical creams are not good for the skin's natural softness, even if they don't cause major illnesses. In our days, we used simple chickpea flour and turmeric paste to gently clean the skin. If you must use creams, do so sparingly.

While creams won't cause cancer, ignoring any persistent skin rashes or chemical burns is a bad idea. I once ignored a skin allergy from a product and it turned into a severe infection. If you ever feel burning or see bumps, please see a doctor immediately.
