Can hair loss from dehydration be reversed?

I realised I don't drink enough water at all, and my hair feels really dry and brittle, with a lot of hairfall. If I start hydrating properly and drinking sufficient water, can my hair go back to being thick and healthy?

Yes, absolutely! When I wasn't drinking enough water, my hair became super brittle and started falling. I started keeping a bottle with me all day and added coconut water to my routine, and the shedding stopped in a few weeks.

In our youth, we worked all day in the sun and realized late how much water our bodies actually need. Once you make it a habit to drink enough water daily, your health and hair will slowly recover. Have patience, nature takes its time.

My daughter had terrible hair fall during her hostel days because she barely drank water and lived on tea. I made her track her daily water intake and eat more fresh fruits. Her hair health improved significantly within two months.

We remember to charge our phones ten times a day but forget to drink two glasses of water. Just keep a water bottle next to you instead of chai all the time. Your hair might actually thank you for it!

While staying hydrated is great for your general scalp health, hair loss can sometimes have deeper hormonal reasons. I thought mine was just dehydration, but it turned out to be PCOS. Keep drinking water, but do see a doctor if it doesn't stop.
