Can hair fall out from stress?

With my new job, the stress levels are really high, and I've noticed my hair thinning out much faster than before. Everyone says stress can cause hair loss. Is it true that hair can literally fall out because of stress?

Yes, it is clinically proven, but don't just buy random anti-hairfall oils online. Go get a proper consultation with a dermatologist to make sure it isn't something else like alopecia.

Yes, stress shedding is common. Instead of spending thousands on expensive serums, just get a basic vitamin D and B12 test done first to see if there is any deficiency.

Absolutely! When I'm stressed, I eat junk food and lose hair. Try to munch on healthy nuts and seeds instead of chips next time you feel overwhelmed.

Mind and body are connected, so when you are anxious, your hair roots also feel the tension. Practice regular deep breathing and trust that this phase will pass.

Bro, my hair fell out like crazy during semester exams. It's totally normal during high-stress times. Just try to sleep well and it should stop on its own.

I know how terrifying it is to see chunks of hair fall out when you are already anxious. It is a real condition called telogen effluvium, but it is temporary and reversible.
