Can hair fall due to stress?

I've been under a lot of work stress lately, and I've noticed a significant increase in hair fall. My mom says it's because of the tension. Can emotional stress actually be a direct cause of hair falling out?

Yes, stress absolutely causes hair fall by pushing hair follicles into a resting phase. While managing stress, make sure you eat protein-rich foods like paneer, sprouts, and seeds to help rebuild strength.

Haan, bilkul hota hai. Stress se body mein changes aate hain aur hair fall badh jata hai na. Thoda meditation try karo aur acche se so jao, farak padega.

Haan na, stress makes hair fall so much. Even I noticed heavy shedding during my exams. Just try to take some rest and don't worry too much, it settles down.

I went through severe telogen effluvium after a stressful family event. The key is patience; the shedding stops on its own after 3-6 months. Focus on a balanced diet and avoid harsh styling.

Yes bro, stress absolutely wrecks your hair. I had massive shedding during my final year placements. It stopped and my hair came back once I got a job and chilled out.

I totally get it, seeing your hair thin out when you are already stressed is a terrible feeling. Please don't be too hard on yourself. Your hair will recover once your body feels safe again.

I lose more hair over stress than I do over actual aging. It's a vicious cycle—stress causes hair fall, which causes more stress, and then more hair fall. Just try to get some sleep, honestly.

Our mind and body are deeply connected, and stress manifests physically as hair fall. Try to practice deep breathing and stay positive. Gentle care and patience will help your hair recover naturally.

I used to cry in front of the mirror every time I combed my hair. It is so emotionally exhausting. Just know that you are not alone, and this is temporary stress shedding.

Actually yaar, work stress literally ruined my hair density last year. It is a real thing called telogen effluvium. Just try to chill out a bit, it grows back once you relax.

Don't blindly buy onion oils or internet serums claiming to cure stress hair fall. Go to a proper dermatologist who can diagnose if it is telogen effluvium or something else.
