Can hair color make your hair fall out?

Last month, I tried a new hair color at home, and ever since, my hair seems to be falling out much more than before. Is it possible that the hair color itself made my hair weak and caused it to fall out like this?

Before you spend thousands on expensive anti-hairfall shampoos, check if the dye is just causing breakage. A basic lab test for vitamins costs around 800 rupees and is much more practical than buying random products. Plan your budget for a dermatologist visit first.

I went to a dermatologist at Aster Medcity when my hair started thinning. She told me that while coloring damages the shaft, actual root hair fall is usually internal. Ask your doctor clearly to do a scalp examination to be sure.

I kept blaming my new hair color for my receding hairline and didn't do anything about it. By the time I went to a clinic, I had lost a lot of density due to pattern baldness. Please get it checked early instead of ignoring it like I did.

Dekho, chemical lagaoge toh thoda damage toh hoga hi. Hair dye se baal dry ho kar toot-te hain, par agar poore jadh se gir rahe hain toh doctor ko dikhao. Baat simple hai, chemicals thoda kam karo.

Oh god, I've been overthinking my hair fall for weeks after getting a global brown color. I keep counting every strand and stressing myself out, which probably makes it worse! We will get through this, let's just avoid heat styling for now.

Chemicals definitely weaken the external hair strands, making them break easily. Along with stopping chemical dyes, try doing regular Kapalbhati and scalp massages with simple coconut oil. It helps improve blood circulation to the roots naturally.

No need to buy fancy serums to fix this. Just switch to a ammonia-free dye or simple heena if it suits you, and oil your hair weekly. These simple, workable solutions save money and keep the hair decent.

I tried everything from onion juice to egg masks after a bad hair dye experience left me with thin hair. While home remedies help soothe the dry scalp, the best practical solution is to stop coloring and let the damaged hair grow out.
