Can gluten intolerance cause hair loss?

My hair has been thinning a lot recently and I've also been having some digestion issues. My dermatologist asked me to consider if I have any intolerances, so I'm thinking if gluten intolerance can cause hair loss.

I have high BP and also faced severe hair fall. My doctor told me food intolerances cause body stress which raises BP and triggers hair loss. Getting a proper checkup and fixing my diet really helped.

My teenage daughter started losing clumps of hair due to gluten intolerance. Once we switched her to a strict gluten-free diet and gave her iron supplements, her hair grew back beautifully. Please get a test done.

As a diabetic, I have to watch my diet closely. When I suffered from hair fall, my doctor explained that gluten intolerance can prevent your body from absorbing key nutrients. Proper nutrition tracking is very important.

I went through this exact same thing! My hair was thinning so much until I realized wheat was causing my gut inflammation. Once I started eating ragi and rice instead, my hair volume slowly came back.

Listen, don't panic about the hair fall. If it is indeed gluten intolerance, your scalp will heal once you stop eating wheat. Just consult a dermatologist and a nutritionist to guide you through the transition safely.

Yes, gluten intolerance can definitely cause hair loss due to poor nutrient absorption in your gut. Better get it checked.
