Can garlic damage your liver?

I love adding garlic to almost all my meals because I heard it's good for you, but a friend mentioned that too much garlic could damage the liver. Is there any possibility that consuming a lot of garlic can harm my liver?

Honestly, eating normal amounts of garlic in your daily sabzi or dal is totally safe and actually good for you. The real issue starts if people start popping high-dose garlic pills or raw cloves like crazy. Keep it moderate in your meals and you really don't have to worry about liver damage.

In our times, we always had a tiny piece of garlic with warm water in winter for joints, but never in huge amounts. Garam taseer hoti hai iski, so too much raw garlic can cause body heat and stomach upset. Eat it as a spice in food, don't overdo home remedies without asking a local vaidya or doctor.

Why take expensive supplements or eat 10 raw cloves daily? Just use 2-3 garlic cloves in your daily cooking ghar pe, it gives great flavor and keeps things safe. Excessive raw consumption can heat up the body and strain the system, so simple moderation is the best key.

I have tried so many home remedies for BP, including swallowing raw garlic pieces daily. Honestly, it just ended up giving me bad breath and severe heartburn after a week, nothing else. Now I just stick to using normal amounts in my regular rasam and curries, which is much safer and practical.

Please be very careful with raw garlic on an empty stomach. I tried taking heavy garlic extracts last year for cholesterol, and it gave me horrible acidity and my liver enzymes actually showed a slight jump in reports. My doctor made me stop it immediately, so better ask a doc before starting anything concentrated.

Unless you are trying to fight off a whole army of vampires and eating garlic raw for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, your liver is perfectly fine! Just chill and enjoy your garlic naan. Normal food amounts won't harm you at all.
