Can gallstones cause bloating and weight gain?

I've been feeling constantly bloated and have gained some weight despite no changes in my diet. My mother had gallstones and mentioned similar symptoms. Can gallstones really cause both bloating and weight gain?

I always worry about every little symptom, but from what I researched, gallstones cause major bloating and gas because your body is struggling to digest fats. The 'weight gain' might actually just be fluid retention or intense bloating making your clothes feel tight. Please don't stress too much but do get it checked by a doctor to be sure.

Please don't ignore severe bloating. I thought mine was just normal gas, but it turned out my gallstones were causing a major blockage and inflammation. It is very risky to delay. I highly recommend consulting a specialist and getting an ultrasound done as soon as possible.

Yes, digestive issues like gallstones can disrupt your system, causing a lot of gas and bloating. Also, sudden lifestyle changes or stress from the pain can indirectly affect your weight and blood pressure. It is best to go for regular health checkups to keep everything in check.

Bloating is super common with gallstones because fat digestion slows down. If your doctor allows, light walking after meals can really help move that trapped gas and keep your metabolism active. Just avoid high-intensity workouts if you are in pain, and focus on clean eating.

Dude, yes! The bloating is so real, my stomach literally looks twice its size after eating anything. It feels like I gained 5 kgs in a day, but it is mostly just gas and bad digestion. Definitely cut down on junk food for a bit and see a doctor.

Don't worry too much, bloating is a very standard symptom when your gallbladder isn't happy. It makes you feel incredibly heavy and swollen, which can feel like sudden weight gain. Try eating very small, oil-free meals for now and let's get you checked by a doc to solve this properly.

When managing diabetes, you have to be very careful with digestion. Gallstone issues can slow down your digestion, leading to heavy bloating, which might affect your daily activity levels and weight. Make sure you discuss any diet changes with your doctor to keep your sugar and gallbladder safe.

Haan beta, pitta ki pathri se pet phool jata hai aur lagta hai sharir bhari ho gaya hai. Khana theek se pachta nahi hai na. Aap bilkul chinta mat karo, doctor saheb ko dikhao, wo dawa denge toh sab theek ho jayega.

In my years, I have seen many people face this. The heavy feeling and bloating make you feel like you are gaining weight, but once the gallbladder issues are resolved, your body goes back to normal. Don't let it panic you, just get the right medical help in time.

At the hospital where I get my checkups, the doctor told me that gallstones cause a lot of flatulence and abdominal swelling, which people confuse with fat gain. It is best to ask your doctor clearly about this. Don't rely on self-diagnosis, get a proper ultrasound done.
