Can gallbladder stones cause weight gain?

I've been diagnosed with gallstones recently, and at the same time, I've noticed I'm putting on weight, especially around my midsection. Could these gallstones actually be the reason for this weight gain?

Dekho yaar, gallstones se seedha weight nahi badhta. Asal mein gallbladder pain ki wajah se digestion kharab ho jata hai, aur acidity ya bloating lagti hai toh lagta hai mote ho gaye hain. Apne khane pe dhyan do aur doctor ko dikhao, faltu assumptions se kuch nahi hoga.

Our bodies sometimes store stress when there is pain inside, which can lead to bloating or feeling heavy. Keep your mind calm and focus on healing your digestive system. Trust the process, eat light foods, and seek proper medical guidance to restore your inner balance.

Please be very careful. I thought my sudden abdominal swelling was just weight gain, but it was severe inflammation and blockage due to ignored stones. Don't wait for things to get complicated like it did for me. Please get an ultrasound done and consult a doctor immediately.

When I went to my hospital for a checkup, the senior specialist explained that gallstones themselves don't cause weight gain, but sluggish metabolism or thyroid issues might be the actual reason. You should ask your doctor clearly to run some blood tests. Getting professional advice from a good clinic is the best way forward.

Beta, when digestion is weak, gas and bloating will make the stomach look bigger. Drink warm water with ajwain after meals to ease the heavy feeling. But remember, if there are stones, home remedies can only give small comfort; you must show it to a proper doctor.
