Can exercise cause hair loss?

I've started working out quite intensely recently, focusing on cardio and strength training. While I feel healthier, I've noticed a significant increase in hair fall. Is it possible that too much exercise can cause hair loss?

Haan, heavy workouts can sometimes cause hair loss, especially if you are not eating enough protein na! Actually, putting too much stress on the body without proper recovery triggers shedding. Keep your diet balanced and don't overdo the gym, everything will be fine.

I started going to the gym last month and suddenly my hair fall has increased so much! Is anyone else also experiencing this? I am getting really worried that the heavy lifting is somehow messing up my hormones. Please let me know if this is normal.

Normally, exercise improves blood circulation which actually helps hair growth. However, if you are doing extreme workouts, skipping rest days, and taking poor nutrition, that physical stress can cause telogen effluvium (temporary shedding). Just balance your training with good nutrition and sleep.

Bro, don't stress too much about it! Regular exercise actually keeps you fit and happy, which is great for hair. If you are seeing some extra hair fall, it might just be sweat buildup on your scalp. Just wash your hair properly after workouts and you'll be absolutely fine.

Honestly, I barely get four hours of sleep and then try to hit the gym like a hero, only to find my hair leaving my scalp in protest. Extreme exercise combined with poor recovery and sleep will definitely stress your body and cause hair loss. Go easy on yourself, sleep is also part of fitness!

It can be stressful to notice hair fall when you are trying to stay healthy. Moderate exercise is usually very good for your body, but excessive strain can sometimes trigger hair shedding. Please listen to your body, take rest, and speak to a doctor if you are concerned.

Since managing my blood sugar requires regular exercise, I've researched this. Exercise itself doesn't cause hair loss, but nutritional deficiencies or extreme caloric restriction while working out can. Ensure you are getting enough clean protein and complex carbs, and consult your doctor for a routine checkup.
