Can evista cause hair loss?

I've been taking Evista for my bones for a while now. I'm starting to notice some significant hair thinning and more hair on my brush. Could this medication, Evista, actually be causing my hair loss?

It can be very worrying to see hair fall when you are starting a new medication. Evista can sometimes cause hair thinning in some people because of how it affects estrogen in the body. Please share this with your doctor, they will support you and help you find a solution.

When my daughter faced severe hair thinning due to some medication changes, we felt helpless. The best thing we did was keep a daily log of her symptoms and show it to her specialist. If you're on Evista and seeing hair fall, write it down and ask your doctor if an alternative is safe for you.

Oh god, I always read the side effects leaflet of every pill and end up worrying myself sick about hair loss! It is really scary when it actually starts happening with medicines like Evista. Please talk to your doctor soon so they can reassure you, don't keep searching online and stressing out.

Actually, Evista is a selective estrogen receptor modulator, so it alters how estrogen works in your tissues, yaar. Because of this hormonal play, hair loss is a known but less common side effect. You should definitely discuss this with your doc in your next visit.

I know exactly how terrifying it is to notice hair fall after starting a prescription like Evista, it makes you want to stop the medicine immediately. Please don't panic, your feelings are completely natural. Take a deep breath and consult your doctor before making any changes to your dose.

Look, Evista is a strong medicine prescribed for bone health, and yes, hormonal shifts from it can trigger hair fall. But don't go stopping the tablet on your own because of this. Go straight to your doctor, tell them about the hair loss, and let them decide the next step.
