Can entyvio cause hair loss?

I've been taking Entyvio for my chronic condition for a few months now, and I've noticed a lot more hair loss than usual. Could Entyvio be causing my hair to fall out like this?

Before you buy expensive hair serums or treatments, get your basic vitamin D and iron levels checked because Entyvio can sometimes affect absorption. A simple blood test is much cheaper and will help you plan your budget.

I am about to start my third dose of Entyvio and I am so scared of losing my hair. Has anyone actually faced major hair fall on this medication, or does it stop after some time?

I have been on various strong medications over the last twenty years. Hair fall can happen when the body is weak, but once your main illness is controlled by the medicine, the hair usually grows back. Have patience.

Don't lose heart! A lot of times it's just our body reacting to stress. Eat well, keep a smile on your face, and discuss this with your doctor so they can help you with some safe hair supplements.

While hair thinning is not a very common side effect of Entyvio itself, the underlying inflammation from IBD can cause hair fall. It is best to discuss this with your gastroenterologist so they can evaluate your nutrient levels.

Dealing with gut issues and managing sugar is tough. If you are facing hair loss on Entyvio, make sure you are not skipping healthy, sugar-free nutrition. Talk to your doctor to see if you need safe multi-vitamins.

I had a bad flare-up and some side effects on my biologics. Please don't ignore any new symptoms while on Entyvio. Get in touch with your doctor immediately to make sure it's not a reaction.
