Can eczema cause swollen lymph nodes?

I've noticed that sometimes when my eczema is very inflamed, the lymph nodes near the affected area feel a bit swollen and tender. I'm not sure if this is normal. Can eczema cause swollen lymph nodes, or should I be concerned?

Actually, yes, yaar. When my eczema got super bad and I scratched it like crazy, my neck lymph nodes swelled up. My doc told me it's just the body's reaction to the skin irritation, but you should totally get it checked to be safe.

Eczema means your body is dealing with a lot of inflammation, which can affect your lymph nodes if the skin gets irritated or infected. Along with your medical treatment, keeping a clean, plant-based diet helps reduce general body inflammation. But do see a doctor for the swelling.

Oh, my skin and body always react when I eat too much oily street food, and my eczema flares up. If your skin gets a small infection from all that scratching, those lymph nodes can swell up. Better stick to simple food and get a quick doctor's advice on those lumps!

Having PCOS has taught me that body systems are highly connected and inflammation can cause weird reactions. Swollen lymph nodes can happen with severe eczema, but I never take chances with immune symptoms. I highly recommend having a doctor check it out.

My grandmother always says to apply turmeric for skin issues, but when my neck lymph nodes swelled during a bad eczema flare, I went straight to the doctor. He explained it was a mild reaction to the broken skin. It is always safest to trust a medical professional for such things.

My son had this happen when his eczema on the back of his knees got infected. His groin lymph nodes swelled a bit, which scared me, but the pediatrician cleared it up with a mild cream. Keep an eye on it and show it to your doctor.

Yes, if the eczema is severe, the lymph nodes near the flare-up can swell. The simplest solution is to keep the area clean, apply basic moisturizer, and get a quick consultation from your local family doctor without worrying too much.

Haan na, it is quite common when the skin irritation is high or if there is a small infection from scratching. Don't worry, but it is best to consult your family doctor once to be completely sure.

While you can apply a little cool aloe vera to soothe the dry skin, swollen lymph nodes are not something to treat at home. It usually means your body is fighting a small infection from broken skin. Please visit a doctor for a proper checkup.
