Can ecg show heart attack?

My friend had sudden chest pain and was rushed to the hospital where they immediately did an ECG. He told me it helped the doctors figure out what was happening. Can an ECG definitively show if someone is having a heart attack?

Yes, an ECG can show an ongoing heart attack, but in my father's case, the first ECG was normal even though he was having symptoms. Please don't ignore chest pain just because of one clear report. Go see a cardiologist immediately.

From what I understand, an ECG is the primary test used to identify changes in heart rhythms. However, other tests might also be needed for a clear picture. Please follow up with your doctor for safety.

An ECG is definitely the fastest way to confirm a heart attack in the emergency room. But sometimes, a series of ECGs and blood tests like Troponin are needed to be absolutely sure. Trust the hospital staff, they know best.

For mild chest discomfort, some people think it is just gas and try home remedies. But an ECG is essential to confirm if it is actually a heart issue. Never risk ignoring serious symptoms.

An ECG is standard protocol for diagnosing heart attacks. Even modern smartwatches can detect some irregular rhythms, but they cannot replace a proper 12-lead hospital ECG. Go get a clinical test if you are feeling unwell.

Haan, dactar log sabse pehle ECG hi karte hain jab seene mein dard hota hai. Isse turant pata chal jata hai ki dil mein koi bura asar toh nahi hua hai.

Yes, an ECG can detect abnormalities in the heart's electrical pathways during or after an attack. Along with tests, maintaining a healthy, plant-based diet is key to preventing such issues.
