Can eating too little prevent weight loss?

I'm consistently eating very small portions and often feel hungry, all to lose weight. But the scale just isn't moving down, it's very frustrating. Is it possible that eating too little food can actually prevent my body from losing weight?

Haan na, completely true! People think starving is the only way to lose weight, but actually it backfires and ruins our metabolism. Normal ghar ka khana is always the best for losing weight safely.

Yes, absolutely! Your body goes into 'survival mode' when food is too low, so it clings to every bit of energy. 🛑 Try eating healthy, balanced meals and watch your body thank you!

I used to cry looking at the scale after barely eating anything all day, feeling like a failure. It was such an emotionally draining cycle. Realizing that eating too little was holding me back was a major turning point for my mental peace.

I ended up with severe vitamin deficiencies and muscle loss because of an extreme calorie deficit. It took me months of doctor visits and supplements to recover. Always get a basic blood panel done before starting any diet.

With PCOS, starving myself made things so much worse because it spiked my insulin resistance and stress. I learned the hard way that we need to nourish our bodies, not punish them. Please talk to a gynecologist or endocrinologist first.

I have been eating less than 1200 calories for three weeks and my weight hasn't budged at all. I am starting to feel really anxious and tired. Has anyone else gone through this stall at the beginning?

You don't need fancy salads or starvation plans. Just cut down on sugar, soft drinks, and deep-fried stuff, and eat your regular dal, roti, and sabzi in normal limits. It is a very simple and sustainable way to lose weight without starving.
