Can eating peanuts cause weight gain?

I love snacking on peanuts, especially roasted ones, and they feel quite filling. However, I'm also trying to manage my weight. Can eating peanuts regularly contribute to weight gain, or are they a healthy snack option?

Honestly, don't believe everything people claim on Instagram or WhatsApp about peanuts being a miracle diet or a major villain. It completely depends on your overall daily calorie intake and metabolism. Better to consult a proper nutritionist who can plan your daily diet scientifically instead of guessing.

Peanuts are actually very healthy and cheap, but the problem is portion control. If you sit with a full packet while watching TV, you will end up consuming too much. Just take a small handful, keep the packet away, and enjoy them roasted without extra oil or salt.

Yes, if you eat too many of them daily, peanuts can definitely make you put on weight because they are quite high in fats and calories.

Peanuts won't magically make you fat overnight unless you are eating them in surplus. It is all about energy balance at the end of the day. If you track your macros and eat them in moderation, they are a great source of healthy fats.

Actually yaar, peanuts are super addictive, once you start eating them toh stop hona mushkil hota hai. That is why people gain weight because they don't realize how many calories they just had. Just control the portion and you should be totally fine.

Bro, peanuts are literally my go-to pocket-friendly protein source in the hostel. But yeah, if u binge on them like chips, they will make u gain weight real quick. I try to limit myself to just one small katori a day.
