Can eat honey during pregnancy?

Hi everyone, I'm in my second trimester and someone told me honey is not good for pregnant women. Is this true? I love adding a little bit to my warm milk, so I'm a bit worried.

Yes, honey is safe for pregnant women because your adult digestive system handles any botulism spores safely. Just track the calories on your fitness app as it is still sugar.

My wife replaced sugar with honey in everything during her pregnancy to stay healthy. I was the one who ended up gaining weight tasting all her healthy concoctions! It's totally safe, go for it.

I had terrible sore throats during my pregnancy and ginger-honey water was my savior. Just don't put honey in boiling hot water as it destroys the nutrients; let it cool slightly first.

Look, honey is fine but don't buy those raw, unpasteurized ones from local farms right now. Stick to standard branded pasteurized honey to avoid any bacterial infection risks.

My daughter-in-law used to have warm lemon honey water every morning during her pregnancy to help with nausea. It is a very safe and healthy home routine.

Actually, you can totally have honey, yaar. It is only unsafe for infants under one year, not for pregnant moms. Just make sure you buy pasteurized honey from a good brand.
