Can dying your hair make your hair fall out?

Every time I get my hair colored, it feels weaker, and I see more strands falling out in the shower. My parlor did say it can be harsh on hair. Does dyeing your hair actually make it fall out more?

I really want to color my hair for college but I'm so scared of losing my hair. Does anyone know if herbal or organic dyes are actually safer, or do they also have chemicals that make hair fall out?

Honestly, same here, I was so scared before getting my first global color. My stylist told me that as long as you don't touch the roots directly with high-volume developer, your hair roots remain perfectly safe. Just get it done by a professional.

I tried so many home remedies like aloe vera and curd masks after my hair got damaged from chemical coloring. They really help in restoring the moisture and reducing the hair breakage. Try to limit the chemicals and give your hair some natural love.

Don't worry too much, normal hair color doesn't make your hair fall out from the roots. Just make sure to use a good conditioner and you will be fine.

Hi there! I've been coloring my hair for over fifteen years. The dye itself doesn't cause root hair loss, but over-bleaching can make the strands weak and cause them to break off easily. Just stick to a safe color shade and avoid bleaching too often.

Listen, if you buy cheap 50-rupee hair dyes and apply them blindly, your hair will obviously get dry and break. Use a decent brand, don't do it every month, and keep your scalp clean. Simple as that.

Hair dye typically causes shaft breakage due to protein damage rather than actual alopecia or root loss. However, if you develop an allergic contact dermatitis on your scalp, it can lead to hair shedding. It is always wise to consult a dermatologist if you notice unusual hair fall.

Please be very careful. I had a horrible reaction to a black hair dye last year which caused severe scalp burning and my hair started falling out in clumps. If you feel any burning sensation while applying, wash it off immediately and see a doctor.

Actually, it is mostly just temporary breakage because the hair gets dry! Just pamper your hair with some nice coconut oil or a hair mask weekly and it will stay super soft and healthy. 🌟

Hey, relax, your hair isn't going to just fall out from one dye session. Just make sure you do a small patch test on your arm first to check for any allergies. If there's no itching or redness, you are good to go.

If dying made everyone bald, half of Bollywood would be wearing wigs by now! Jokes aside, it just makes the hair a bit dry, so don't skimp on the conditioner and you'll survive.
