Please don't start any random herbal or protein supplements based on YouTube videos or gym trainers. Many of these unbranded products are loaded with heavy metals that can damage your liver. Always consult a proper physician and get a liver function test before starting anything.

I always believe in getting our nutrition from real food like dal, green leafy veggies, and milk. Many of these commercial supplements have too many preservatives. If you must take them, check with your family doctor first to be safe.

It is so overwhelming when you try to do something good for your health by taking supplements, and then you read about kidney or liver damage. I felt so anxious and guilty for weeks after starting my vitamins. It's really hard to know what's safe anymore.

I've been taking multivitamin tablets and ashwagandha for a few months now, and recently my digestion has been a bit off. Has anyone else experienced stomach issues or liver worries after starting supplements? I'm getting a bit scared.

Arrey, if you are popping ten different pills a day like they are popcorn, obviously your liver is going to protest! Just stick to what your doctor actually prescribed and stop treating the supplement aisle like a grocery store.

My doctor told me that high doses of certain oil-soluble vitamins like Vitamin A, or heavy green tea extracts, can indeed cause liver toxicity. He advised always buying FSSAI-approved brands and never exceeding the daily recommended allowance.

If you are already taking any supplements and feeling unusually tired, nauseous, or noticing dark urine, please stop them immediately. It is crucial to get a Liver Function Test (LFT) done and show a doctor to ensure your liver is absolutely fine.

Agree with others here. Only take what a doctor prescribes after looking at your blood report; self-prescribing is too risky.

Yes, supplement-induced liver injury is a real thing, especially with bodybuilding supplements or unregistered herbal formulations. Always look for third-party lab testing on the label and don't combine too many different pills at once.
