Can diabetics take vitamin d3?

My latest blood tests showed I have a Vitamin D deficiency, which my doctor said is common. He recommended a D3 supplement. Since I'm also diabetic, I just wanted to cross-check if Vitamin D3 is completely safe for diabetics.

Haan, bilkul le sakte hain! Actually Vitamin D3 toh sugar control karne mein bhi help karta hai, toh yeh bohot zaroori hai. Apne doctor se ek baar check karwa ke dose pooch lo na, usually ek weekly tablet milti hai.

My doctor just told me I have a severe Vitamin D3 deficiency along with my high sugar levels. Has anyone else felt super tired because of this? I am starting my D3 pills today and really hope it helps me feel better soon.

My dad is diabetic and his doctor recently put him on weekly Vitamin D3 sachets because his bones were aching. His sugar levels didn't change at all because of it, so it's totally safe. Just make sure to get the sugar-free powder or normal capsules.

Yes, Vitamin D3 is highly recommended for diabetics. My endocrinologist explained that D3 helps improve insulin sensitivity and beta-cell function in the pancreas. I take a weekly dose of 60,000 IU as prescribed after my blood test showed a deficiency.

I agree with everyone, Vitamin D3 is very safe and important for diabetics. Just get a simple blood test done first so your doctor can prescribe the correct weekly dose.

At my age, my body is like a rusty car, and my doctor said Vitamin D3 is the oil I need, especially since I am diabetic. It is completely safe and actually helps insulin work better. Just swallow the pill and don't expect it to make you feel 20 again overnight!
