Can diabetics take vitamin b12?

My energy levels have been quite low recently, and I heard that Vitamin B12 deficiency is common, especially in diabetics. I was thinking of taking a supplement. Is it generally safe for diabetics to take Vitamin B12?

Of course you can! In fact, if you are on metformin, your B12 levels might be running away faster than a local train. It's totally safe, so go ahead and get those nerve vitamins back into your system without any worry!

When I visited my specialist at the hospital, they specifically checked my B12 because my diabetes medicine can cause a deficiency. You should definitely ask your doctor clearly to test your B12 levels first, and then they can prescribe the exact dosage you need.

Haan, bilkul le sakte hain! Actually B12 toh humare nerves ke liye bohot zaroori hota hai, khaaskar jab diabetes ho. Apne doctor se dose pooch lo na ek baar, woh sahi brand bata denge jo sugar-free ho.

I can't give you any medical advice, but I am diabetic and my doctor prescribed B12 tablets because I had tingling in my feet. I have been taking them daily and they have helped me a lot without affecting my blood sugar levels at all.

Don't just go and buy any random B12 supplement online because some have added sugars or unnecessary fillers. Get a proper blood test done to see if you actually have a deficiency, and then let your diabetologist recommend a clean, pharmaceutical-grade brand.

Since vegetarian food lacks B12, taking a supplement is super important for us diabetics! My doctor gave me a B12 tablet to take with my meals. It really helps keep my energy up so I can still enjoy cooking my favorite healthy diabetic recipes.

I am so tired and sluggish all the time, and my doctor told me my diabetes medication was draining my B12! Taking the supplement has actually helped me feel a bit more human. Just check with your doc to see if this is why you are feeling exhausted too.
