Can diabetics drink coconut water daily?

My grandmother, who is diabetic, has been advised to drink more fluids, and she really likes coconut water. Can diabetics drink coconut water daily, or is it better to have it only occasionally?

I have tried many home remedies for my husband's sugar, and while coconut water is highly nutritious, drinking it daily can sometimes accumulate too much potassium and natural sugars. Having it 2-3 times a week is much safer and easier to manage.

Look, daily is a bit much. Coconut water has natural sugars, and if you drink it daily, your blood sugar reports might show a rise. Stick to having it on alternate days or just twice a week, and never buy those bottled ones from the supermarket.

Drinking it daily is generally not recommended unless you are highly active or working out in the heat. The natural sugars can add up. Limit it to every other day, avoid the malai, and make sure your doctor is okay with the extra potassium intake.

Daily coconut water might make your wallet light and your blood sugar high! It is nature's energy drink, but it still has natural sugars. Better to keep it as a special treat 2-3 times a week instead of making it a daily ritual.

I was researching this for my mom and found that while it has great electrolytes, daily consumption might spike blood glucose if your diabetes is not well-controlled. Maybe try checking your sugar levels on the days you drink it to see how your body reacts?
