Can diabetes make your hair fall out?

Since last few months, I've noticed a lot of hair fall, especially while washing my hair. My family doctor mentioned my blood sugar levels are a bit high. Could there be a connection between diabetes and hair loss?

Yes, high sugar affects your hair roots, but before spending 3000-4000 rupees on expensive hair serums and shampoos, just get a basic HbA1c and thyroid test done. If your sugar is in control, hair fall automatically stops. Save that money for proper doctor-prescribed medicine instead of useless cosmetic packs.

Honestly, working 10 hours a day and managing high sugar is what ruined my hair density last year. The stress makes diabetes worse, which directly triggers crazy shedding. Don't waste time on random DIY hair masks; just book a quick lab test online, get your sugar levels in check, and talk to your physician.

Aree yes, it absolutely can! 💇‍♀️ When my dad's sugar spiked last year, he started losing so much hair. But don't worry too much, once we got his diet under control with doc's help, his hair actually started looking much better! Just stay positive and eat your greens! 🌻

My mom has diabetes and she was complaining about this exact same thing last month. She was so scared she'd go bald, but the doc told us it happens when body gets stressed by sugar spikes. We started pushing her to walk daily and watch her diet, and its thoda better now.

I have both BP and sugar issues, and I noticed severe hair thinning when my levels were fluctuating. When blood circulation gets weak due to these lifestyle conditions, hair health takes a hit. Please schedule regular checkups with your doctor and keep a tab on your daily salt and sugar intake.

Hey, don't stress too much about it, okay? Stressing will only make your hair fall even more! Yes, fluctuating blood sugar can cause shedding, but it is totally temporary. Just focus on a clean diet, take your meds on time, and your hair will bounce back soon!

It actually does, yaar. My uncle was wondering why he is losing so much hair suddenly, and then when he checked, his HbA1c was through the roof. It is because of poor blood circulation to the hair follicles. Just go check your levels first, tension मत लो.
