Can constipation cause nausea and vomiting in pregnancy?

Main pregnant hoon aur mujhe already nausea rehta hai. Ab pichle do din se constipation bhi hai, aur nausea aur vomiting bahut zyada ho gayi hai. Kya pregnancy mein constipation se ye symptoms badh jaate hain?

Pregnancy already turns your digestion upside down, and constipation just loves to join the party! Yes, it can make morning sickness feel much worse. Do yourself a favor and speak to your gynecologist before taking anything.

It definitely compounds the issue. Hormones slow down your bowels, and that backup makes nausea worse. Don't suffer through it, talk to your OB-GYN directly and get a pregnancy-safe stool softener prescribed.

During my pregnancy, my thyroid levels fluctuated and caused terrible constipation and nausea. I highly recommend keeping up with your regular thyroid tests and doctor follow-ups, as hormonal balance is key here.

Pregnancy medical bills can add up quickly. Since constipation worsens nausea, try managing it first with basic fiber-rich foods like oats and apples which are cheap. If you need tests, compare lab prices beforehand to save some money.

My doctor explained that high progesterone slows down the gut, leading to constipation. This buildup puts upward pressure on the stomach, worsening nausea and triggering vomiting. She advised eating small, frequent meals and drinking plenty of fluids.
