Can coenzyme q10 cause weight gain?

My doctor recommended I start taking Coenzyme Q10 for my heart health. I'm generally careful about my weight, so I wanted to ask if CoQ10 can cause weight gain as a side effect?

I visit Max Hospital for my checkups, and when I asked about Coenzyme Q10, they told me it actually helps with energy cellular metabolism, not weight gain. However, since supplements affect everyone differently, you should ask your doctor clearly about your specific symptoms.

Coenzyme Q10 is generally known to boost energy levels, which actually helps you stay active, so it shouldn't cause weight gain. If you are noticing sudden weight changes, it might be due to stress or a busy lifestyle. Better to get a quick blood test done to see if something else is off.

Honestly, I have been taking CoQ10 for a month now and I haven't put on any weight at all. If anything, I feel a bit more energetic during my morning lectures. Don't stress, it is probably not the supplement causing it.

I was researching Coenzyme Q10 recently because I wanted to try it for fatigue. From what I read, there is no scientific link between CoQ10 and weight gain; in fact, some studies say it might help with metabolic health. It is interesting how different bodies react though!
