Can clenching teeth cause tooth pain?

My dentist recently asked if I clench my teeth, because I've been having persistent tooth pain that isn't from cavities. I do clench sometimes when I'm stressed. Is it true that clenching your teeth can actually lead to significant tooth pain?

Haan bilkul, clenching se teeth par bohot pressure padta hai na. Isiliye subah uthke teeth aur jaw dono me dard hota hai. Try paying attention to your jaw during the day and keep it relaxed.

Yes, I suffer from this so much. My teeth hurt constantly but my dentist found no decay. Does anyone else get severe temple headaches along with this tooth pain? It's honestly so frustrating.

I used to wake up with terrible tooth aches and thought I had cavities. For me, it turned out to be unconscious grinding at night. Once I started using a custom night guard, the pain stopped completely.

I totally get it, that dull, aching tooth pain from clenching is so annoying and hard to ignore. It usually happens due to subconscious stress. Try doing some gentle warm compresses on your jaw before sleeping.

Hey, don't worry too much. Clenching is a very common reaction to stress, and yes, it definitely bruises the ligaments around your teeth causing pain. Go see a dentist, they will make a simple guard for you to wear at night.

Clenching often happens when we hold too much mental tension in our body. Try to practice deep breathing and let go of stress before sleeping. Keep a positive mind and your body will relax naturally.

Bro, absolutely. I was clenching my teeth while working out and during sleep. My molars started hurting like crazy. A dentist confirmed it was muscle strain and wear, so definitely get it checked.
