Can celiac disease cause hair loss?

I've been losing a lot of hair lately, and it's making me really worried. I also have some digestive problems and was thinking of getting tested for celiac disease. Could there be a link between celiac disease and hair falling out like this?

Actually yes yaar, it absolutely can. When your gut is damaged, it doesn't absorb nutrients properly, so your hair starts falling like crazy. Once I went fully gluten-free, my hair fall finally stopped after a few months.

I can't give medical reasons, but my own hair was thinning badly before my celiac diagnosis. My doctor told me it was due to vitamin deficiencies from poor absorption. Once I started my treatment and diet, my hair health slowly came back.

Yes, it is super common but don't lose hope! 🌸 Once your body starts absorbing all those good vitamins again, your hair will bounce right back to life. Keep eating healthy and stay stress-free! ✨

Haan, bilkul ho sakta hai! Nutritional deficiency ho jaati hai na celiac mein, toh hair fall toh banta hi hai. Don't worry, proper diet follow karoge toh baal wapas normal ho jaenge.

Since celiac leads to malabsorption, you miss out on essential nutrients like iron and zinc which are crucial for hair. Focus on nutrient-rich vegetarian options like spinach, pumpkin seeds, and lentils that are naturally gluten-free. Always track your vitamin levels through tests.

Oh, tell me about it! My hair was leaving me faster than my budget on food delivery. Turns out my gut wasn't absorbing anything from my meals. Swapping my regular naan for gluten-free options finally saved my remaining hair!
