Can cedar fever cause body aches?

I suffer from pretty bad seasonal allergies every year, and sometimes I feel like I'm coming down with the flu, with general body aches and tiredness. My friend mentioned 'cedar fever' the other day, and I'm wondering if those allergy symptoms can also include body aches?

A severe allergic reaction can definitely make your body feel exhausted and achy because your immune system is working overtime. I usually focus on eating clean, staying hydrated, and skipping heavy workouts until the fatigue clears up. Rest is key here.

Yes, the constant sneezing and congestion from cedar pollen can leave your muscles feeling very sore and tired. From my experience, taking regular steam inhalation and using a warm compress on your face helps relieve the pressure and the aches. Keep your windows closed to block the pollen.

I completely panicked last winter when my body started aching along with my runny nose, thinking it was something serious. But my doctor assured me it's just a normal response to severe pollen allergies. It went away once the allergy subsided, so don't stress too much.

It is honestly so frustrating when people think it's 'just an allergy' but you are lying in bed with your whole body aching and feeling totally drained. I have been there and it really takes a toll on your mental energy. Please be gentle with yourself and take some time off.

Oh yes, those pollen allergies can really make you feel like you got hit by a truck! 🚚 Keep drinking warm water and take plenty of rest. You will be back on your feet in no time, just hang in there!

Yes, immune responses to heavy pollen like cedar can cause mild body aches and fatigue. I always suggest patients use a saline nasal spray to wash out the allergens and stay well-hydrated. If you also develop a high fever, check with a doctor to rule out any viral infection.

Beta, when the body fights these seasonal winds and pollen, it gets very tired. Drinking warm tulsi and ginger tea can help soothe the throat and ease the body pain. But if the aches are too severe, you must consult your doctor for proper medicine.
