Can cannabis cause hair loss?

I've noticed my hair thinning a bit lately and I'm trying to figure out why. Someone suggested that cannabis use might be linked to hair loss. Is there any truth to this claim, or is it unrelated?

In my experience, regular use of such substances can disturb the natural balance of our body's hormones and cause stress. This internal imbalance can definitely lead to hair thinning. Practicing simple pranayama and eating pure food helps restore this balance naturally.

Using bhang or cannabis heavily can affect your sleep cycle and appetite, which indirectly causes hair fall due to lack of nutrition. Try using warm amla and coconut oil on your scalp for nourishment. But if your hair loss is very sudden and severe, please consult a dermatologist.

Hair loss can be triggered by many things like thyroid, genetics, or lifestyle habits. If you suspect cannabis is causing it, it is safer to stop using it and get a proper blood test done. Better to consult a skin and hair specialist to find the real root cause.

Honestly bro, when I was smoking up heavily during college, my hair started thinning real fast. The smoke and lifestyle messing up your sleep and nutrition definitely plays a role. Once I cut it down and started sleeping on time, my hair quality got much better.

If you are experiencing hair fall, don't rush to buy expensive hair serums and shampoos first. Try reducing any substance use and improving your daily diet, as that costs nothing. If things don't improve, plan a budget for a basic vitamin deficiency test.

Please don't ignore these early warning signs. I ignored minor health changes for a long time thinking they were temporary, and they turned into bigger issues. If you notice persistent hair loss or other changes, get a medical checkup done without delaying.

I had a lot of metabolic issues because of unchecked habits earlier. While some research links heavy cannabis use to hormonal imbalances that cause hair fall, it could also be due to other underlying conditions. I highly recommend seeing a doctor to get an accurate diagnosis.

I've read that heavy cannabis use can actually elevate cortisol levels, which is the stress hormone. And high stress is a major trigger for hair fall in both men and women. Maybe try taking a break from it and focus on good nutrition for a few weeks to see if it helps.
