Can canker sores cause teeth pain?

I've had a bad canker sore for a few days, and now one of my teeth next to it is really hurting. Is it possible for canker sores to cause teeth pain, or should I be worried about something else with my tooth?

Yeah bro, definitely. I had this nasty ulcer right on my gum line last week and it felt like my entire lower tooth was throbbing. Once the sore healed up in a few days, the tooth pain totally vanished.

I completely understand how scary it feels when you have mouth pain and start worrying about nerve damage or root canals. But don't panic, a canker sore right near the gums can easily cause referred pain to your teeth. Try to relax, it usually gets better.

No need to rush for expensive dental treatments right away. Just apply a simple medical gel like Oraflora or rinse your mouth with warm salt water twice a day. Usually, if the tooth pain is just from the sore, it will go away in 4-5 days.

Oh man, canker sores are the absolute worst, they completely ruin the joy of eating spicy biryani! When they pop up near the gums, they definitely make the teeth feel super sensitive and painful. I usually stick to cold curd and ice cream until they clear up.

I literally just went through this last week. I thought I had a cavity because my molar was hurting, but my doctor found a tiny, painful canker sore right behind it. Using a numbing gel on the ulcer stopped the toothache completely.

Ugh yes, same here. During exam stress I always get these ulcers, and they make my teeth hurt so bad that I can't even chew properly. I just use Zytee gel and it numbs the pain so I can study.

Yes, if the ulcer is close to the tooth roots or on the gum, the nerve irritation can feel exactly like a toothache. If you have a busy schedule, just use an antiseptic mouthwash for now. If it doesn't improve in a week, book a quick dentist appointment.

Don't stress too much, dear! Ulcers can be super annoying and make your whole mouth, including your teeth, ache like crazy. Just eat soft foods for a bit and avoid anything too spicy or hot. It will heal up soon!
