Can bitter kola stop vomiting in pregnancy?

My mother-in-law suggested I try bitter kola to help with my morning sickness during pregnancy. I'm really struggling with vomiting, but I'm not sure if it's safe or effective. Does bitter kola actually stop vomiting when you're pregnant?

I panicked so much during my first trimester because of constant vomiting and tried looking up every herb online. But my doctor strictly advised me against trying random things like bitter kola because its safety in pregnancy isn't well-researched. Stick to regular ginger tea, you will be fine!

I don't think bitter kola is common or even safe for pregnancy in India. Better to stick to what our moms suggest, like a little bit of lemon juice or simple ginger, rather than exotic things.

Don't experiment with random herbs during pregnancy. If the vomiting is severe, just consult your obstetrician quickly—they can safely prescribe mild, pregnancy-safe anti-nausea medication in two minutes.

Instead of spending money buying rare imported things like bitter kola online, just ask your doctor for basic, affordable pregnancy-safe nausea pills. They cost very little and are medically proven.

Oh, morning sickness is the absolute worst, I remember crying because I couldn't keep even water down. Please don't try bitter kola, as we don't know if it's safe for the baby. Talk to your doctor, they will help you feel better.
