Can being anemic cause weight gain?

Even though I'm trying to eat healthy, my weight isn't going down, actually it's increasing a bit. Someone told me that anemia can sometimes cause weight gain – is that true?

Haan beta, jab shareer mein khoon kam hota hai to thakan bahut hoti hai. Kuch kaam karne ka mann nahi karta aur insaan pada rehta hai, jiski wajah se thoda vajan badh jata hai. Pehle khoon badhane ki koshish karo, sab theek hoga.

Actually, anemia makes you feel so exhausted that physical activity goes down to zero, which can cause weight gain. Try eating dates, beetroot, and pomegranate daily to boost your energy levels naturally. Once your stamina improves, you will find it much easier to stay active and manage weight.

Before you change your entire diet or join an expensive gym, just get a basic CBC and Thyroid panel test done. Sometimes thyroid issues and anemia happen together and cause weight gain. These basic tests don't cost much and will save you from spending money on wrong treatments.

Actually yaar, when you are anemic, your body is literally running on low battery. You get tired so fast that working out feels impossible, and that leads to weight gain. Don't stress too much, just get your iron checked and fix that first.

I recently recovered from severe iron deficiency and yes, I did put on some weight during that phase because of fluid retention and sheer inactivity. My doctor told me it's very common. Once my iron levels came back to normal, my energy returned and my weight stabilized.

As someone managing diabetes, I know how interconnected these things are. If you are anemic, your metabolism slows down because of low oxygen in the body, which can lead to weight gain. Be careful with any sweet fruits or juices you take to cure anemia, keep an eye on your blood sugar too.

Bro, when my hemoglobin was low, I had zero energy to hit the gym or even walk. I was just eating and sitting around all day, so obviously, I put on weight. It's mostly because of the extreme fatigue, not directly because of anemia itself.

Haan yaar, jab body mein energy hi nahi bachegi to weight to badhega na. Anemia ki wajah se metabolism bilkul sluggish ho jata hai. Ek baar doc se mil lo aur iron supplements start kar do, sab normal ho jayega slowly.
