Can baby sleep in snuggle me?

I recently got a 'Snuggle Me Organic' lounger for my baby and she loves napping in it. However, I've heard conflicting advice about babies sleeping in such loungers. Is it considered safe for a baby to sleep in a Snuggle Me?

It is great for keeping them cozy while they are awake on the sofa next to you. But for night sleeping, just put them on a normal flat crib sheet. It is cheaper, safer, and you don't have to keep worrying about them rolling into the soft sides.

Just like we need proper spinal alignment on a flat bench, babies need a flat, firm surface for safe sleeping. Soft loungers like the snuggle me can pose suffocation risks if they roll. Keep it for supervised lounging only.

Don't stress too much about buying all these expensive fancy loungers for sleep! The classic flat crib mattress is actually the safest thing ever. You can use the snuggle me lounger for cute photos and tummy time instead.

My mother-in-law wanted to use traditional soft cloth swings, but our pediatrician strictly advised against soft bedding. Even with loungers like the Snuggle Me, the doctor said they are not safe for unsupervised sleep. Flat cribs are best.

My daughter loved lounging in hers, but we never left her unattended in it. The risk of suffocation is real if they turn their head into the padded edges. Always transition them to their flat crib for actual sleeping.

We used to let our newborn nap in it, but our doctor warned us about the soft sides and rebreathing risks. We stopped immediately and moved her to a firm bassinet. Honestly, she slept just as well once she got used to it.

If that lounger guaranteed 8 hours of sleep, I'd buy ten of them! But sadly, the safety guidelines say they are for lounging only, not sleeping. It sucks because they look so comfortable, but flat mattresses win this round.
