I used to feel like such a failure because my baby would only sleep in the bouncer, and I was terrified of the risks. It is so hard when you are exhausted, but please transfer them to a flat surface once they fall asleep. It is much safer.
Honestly, at this point, I would let my kid sleep on top of the refrigerator if it meant getting 4 hours of continuous sleep. But kidding aside, doctors say bouncers aren't safe for unsupervised sleep due to chin-to-chest suffocation risk. Back to the crib we go!

Every pediatrician will tell you that a flat, firm surface is the only safe place for a baby to sleep. Bouncers can be dangerous if the baby falls asleep and their head drops. Please consult your pediatrician if your baby refuses the crib.
