Yes, it definitely shows up on X-rays, especially if there is joint damage or narrowing of the joint spaces. My father was using traditional herbal oils, but the doctor insisted on an X-ray to see the actual condition of his knee. It is the best way to get a clear picture.

Haan beta, humare chacha ji ka bhi ghutne ka dard tha toh doctor ne x-ray likha tha. Usme saaf dikh gaya ki haddi aapas me ghis rahi hai. Bahut sasta test hota hai, aap zaroor karwa lijiye.

My doctor just prescribed an X-ray for my severe wrist pain and I am so anxious about what it might show. Has anyone else gone through this? Did your X-ray clearly catch the arthritis in the very early stage?

Absolutely, X-rays are the standard tool to detect bone spurs and cartilage loss in arthritis. However, for very early stages of soft tissue inflammation, doctors sometimes prefer an MRI. Just get the scan done, it's quick and direct.

Yes, an X-ray can confirm joint space narrowing and bone changes. When I visited my hospital, the orthopedic surgeon explained my X-ray report slide by slide. I suggest you ask your doctor clearly if you need any additional blood tests like RA factor along with it.

Yes, it does show up. Just like we need regular BP monitoring to keep things safe, getting an X-ray done gives the doctor a clear baseline of your joint health. Don't delay the test, get it done so you can start managing it with proper lifestyle changes.

Yes, X-rays are very effective in showing bone spurs and joint wear and tear from arthritis.
