Adjusting to thyroid medications can be a bit tricky in the beginning. Sometimes, if the dose is not fully balanced yet, you might see some temporary weight changes. Please keep tracking your symptoms and speak to your doctor soon to check your levels.

In my years of dealing with thyroid issues, I have realized that any change in medication can temporarily upset your body's balance. Armour Thyroid is meant to help your metabolism, but if the dose is too low, you might still gain weight. Don't worry, once your doctor adjusts the dosage based on your blood reports, things will settle down.

Armour Thyroid actually contains both T3 and T4 hormones, and it is usually prescribed to help improve your metabolism and treat hypothyroidism. If you are gaining weight, it could mean your dosage needs to be adjusted, or your body is still adapting to the natural thyroid hormones. Get a fresh TSH test done and discuss the report with your doctor.

My sister was also having thyroid problems and her weight went up and down a lot. It takes some time for these English medicines to suit the body properly. Don't get worried, brother, just visit your doctor in the city and show them your blood report, they will set the right dose.
