Can antibiotics make your hair fall out?

A course of strong antibiotics recently concluded for me, and since then I've noticed a significant increase in hair fall. Could the antibiotics be responsible for making my hair fall out, or is it just a coincidence?

The stress of the illness itself and the heat of these strong medicines can weaken your roots. Try doing Balayam (rubbing nails) and gentle deep breathing to calm your nervous system. Nourishing your body from within with fresh juices will slowly bring the shine back.

With diabetes, any illness or heavy medication can shock the system and lead to hair thinning. I focus on keeping my sugar levels strictly monitored and eating protein-rich foods like paneer or sprouts to support hair health after my antibiotic courses.

Hey, don't stress too much about the hair fall! It's usually just a temporary reaction called telogen effluvium caused by the body's stress from being sick. Once you are fully recovered and back to your routine, your hair will grow back normally.

My daughter had terrible hair shedding after a major typhoid course with heavy antibiotics. I was so worried, but her doctor assured me it is just temporary weakness. I gave her almond milk and fresh fruits daily, and her hair density became normal in a few months.

If you are losing hair after a heavy course, check your nutrient intake. Antibiotics can mess with B-vitamin absorption in the gut, which affects hair strength. Focus on a solid diet with eggs, nuts, and healthy fats to get things back on track.

Listen, don't get scared looking at the comb right now. The body takes a hit when we fall sick, and hair loss is just a delayed response to that strain. Take your vitamins, drink lots of water, and give your body some time to heal.
