Can alcohol cause stroke or heart attack?

My father recently had a mini-stroke, and he used to drink quite a bit. It's made me really concerned about my own health. Can heavy alcohol consumption lead to serious issues like a stroke or even a heart attack?

Alcohol can cause a sudden spike in blood pressure, which is a major risk factor for strokes. Dealing with PCOS has taught me how interconnected our cardiovascular health is. I don't want to sound too sure, but checking with a doctor is the best step.

I can't give medical advice, but my father was a heavy drinker and had a stroke in his late 50s. The doctors told us his high blood pressure from alcohol was the primary cause. Seeing that made me drastically cut down on my own drinking.

I completely understand how terrifying it is to worry about having a heart attack, it is a very scary thought. Yes, alcohol can trigger irregular heartbeats and raise blood pressure. Try to take deep breaths and speak to a doctor to get your heart health evaluated properly.

Haan na, alcohol se BP ekdum se badh jata hai, which is very risky for the heart. Mere ek friend ko heavy drinking ke baad chest me discomfort hua tha. Better safe than sorry, thoda dhyan rakho aur checkup karwa lo.

I recently had a mild heart scare that doctors directly linked to my heavy drinking and high stress levels. Alcohol can cause sudden heart rhythm problems. I have completely quit drinking now, and my heart health is finally back on track.

Please never ignore symptoms like sudden chest pain or numbness, thinking it's just a hangover. I ignored mild chest discomfort once after drinking and ended up having a minor heart episode. Get a proper checkup done immediately if you feel anything unusual.

Listen, alcohol definitely increases the risk of stroke and heart attacks by clogging arteries and raising blood pressure. There is no doubt about this. If you are experiencing chest pain, breathing issues, or dizziness, stop reading online and go to an emergency room right now.

Alcohol disrupts blood sugar levels and increases triglyceride levels, which significantly raises heart attack risks. Managing diabetes has made me realize how dangerous alcohol is for our arteries. Please monitor your levels closely and consult your doctor.
