Can alcohol cause stomach pain?

I sometimes experience stomach discomfort and pain after drinking, even a moderate amount. I always assumed it was just indigestion, but my friend said alcohol can be quite harsh. Can alcohol cause stomach pain directly?

Actually yaar, alcohol completely ruins your stomach lining, which gives that burning pain the next day. It is super common but really bad for your gut in the long run. Try avoiding spicy food and alcohol together, it literally destroys your stomach.

Yes, alcohol increases stomach acid production, which can cause severe gastritis and pain. I track my gut health on a fitness app and noticed my acidity spikes heavily after weekend drinks. Try tracking your food-drink intake to find your specific triggers.

Haan na, alcohol ke baad acidity aur pet me bohot dard hota hai. It's because of the heat it creates in the stomach. Thoda thanda doodh ya coconut water piya karo, it really calms down the irritation.

Stomach pain after alcohol can sometimes be a sign of a stomach ulcer or pancreatitis, which are very serious. Please do not self-medicate or ignore it. It is always safer to visit a doctor and get it properly checked.

Yes, alcohol can cause severe stomach irritation and raise your blood pressure at the same time. I have high BP, so I have to be very careful with my lifestyle and get regular stomach-liver checkups. Please monitor this closely with a doctor.
