Can a woman has sex during pregnancy?

I'm pregnant with my first child, and my husband is worried about physical relations. He heard somewhere that it might not be safe for the baby. Can a woman actually have sex during pregnancy without any risks?

Listen, it is absolutely normal and safe in a healthy pregnancy. The baby is fully protected inside the amniotic sac and by the cervix, so nothing will hurt them. Just make sure to be gentle, find comfortable positions, and if there's any pain or spotting, stop immediately.

Honestly, we panicked so much about this during the first few months and completely avoided it. But our doc laughed and said it is totally fine as long as there are no complications like placenta previa. Just clear it with your gynaecologist once so you both can be tension-free.

I completely understand why you are asking this, I was so terrified of hurting my baby during my first trimester. Every little cramp would make me panic and think I did something wrong. Just take things slow and talk to your husband about your fears, it helps so much.

Yes, you can, but listen to your body. Sometimes you might feel slight tightness after, which is normal, but drinking warm milk or coconut water and resting helps relax the muscles. If you ever feel any real discomfort, just take a break and rest ghar pe.

It is safe, but make sure your routine scans and double marker tests are all clear first. We had to spend quite a bit on extra scans because we didn't plan properly in the beginning. Once your regular doctor confirms everything is healthy in the reports, you can go ahead without worrying.
