Are vivid dreams a sign of pregnancy?

Lately, my dreams have been incredibly real and memorable, which is unusual for me. I've heard some people say vivid dreams can be a sign of pregnancy. Is this actually a common symptom that many women experience?

I was just reading about this on a few health forums last night because my sister is experiencing the same. Apparently, hormone surges like progesterone can make your dreams super intense, which is crazy!

While hormonal changes can trigger vivid dreaming, you cannot rely on it as a diagnostic tool. Please do a urine pregnancy test first, and if positive, visit a gynecologist for a proper ultrasound.

Many women in our group have mentioned this! Along with fatigue and mild breast tenderness, vivid dreams are very common early on. Just take a home test after your missed period date to be sure.

During my first pregnancy, which unfortunately had some complications, I had extremely vivid nightmares. Please don't rely only on tracking symptoms; book an appointment with your doctor to monitor everything from day one.

Yes, when my daughter-in-law was expecting, she couldn't sleep well due to these dreams. I used to give her a warm cup of milk with cardamom before sleeping to soothe her nerves. Try it, it helps with restlessness.

My wife and I ignored weird symptoms like wild dreams and mild spotting thinking it was just stress, and we faced a scare later. Don't make our mistake, if there is even a small chance, get tested and consult a doctor immediately.

People on the internet will connect anything to pregnancy. Vivid dreams can just be due to stress or what you ate. Skip the online theories, buy a test kit, and talk to a gynecologist.
