Are pregnancy tests fsa eligible?

My husband and I are planning to start a family soon, and we're trying to figure out all the associated costs. We were wondering if the expenses for pregnancy tests can be claimed or reimbursed through any health benefits program.

I was checking my corporate insurance details for this and got so confused. Does our standard Indian health insurance or wellness card cover OTC pregnancy kits? Has anyone here successfully claimed this from their office policy?

I completely understand how stressful dealing with health expenses and insurance paperwork can be when you are already anxious. Yes, usually in US-based FSA accounts, these tests are fully eligible. For Indian policies, it's best to check your specific OPD cover to ease your mind.

Medical expense accounts are very useful. Just like I save on my glucose monitor strips using health claims, pregnancy tests are generally eligible under FSA rules. Just make sure to keep the pharmacy receipt safe for filing the claim properly.

I dont know much about FSA things because I'm still in college, but my roommate was talking about it. Apparently, these basic test kits are totally covered under medical tax-saver plans. Pretty cool that you don't have to pay out of pocket.

Actually, if you are talking about US-based FSA accounts, they are 100% eligible yaar. You can just buy them directly using your card. In India, we don't have exact FSA but some corporate wellness cards do cover OTC medical bills, so check that.
