Are pregnancy tests from dollar tree accurate?

A pregnancy test from a local general store was quite cheap, so I picked it up, and now I'm worried about its reliability. My period is late, and the result was positive. Are these affordable tests actually trustworthy?

From a practical standpoint, even cheap tests use the exact same chemical mechanism to detect the hCG hormone. If you are in a rush, they work fine, but for peace of mind, just buy a standard kit from your local Indian pharmacy like Apollo or Medplus.

Haan na, cheap tests also work perfectly fine, chemicals are the same only. You don't need to spend extra money on fancy brands. Just use the morning's first urine and it will give you the correct result, ho na.

My elder sister always told me that any simple test is good enough to start with. However, we always trust our family doctor's advice the most. It is best to get a proper lab test done at a clinic to be absolutely sure about the pregnancy.

They use the same scientific principle as any other brand, so they are generally reliable. Just make sure you are eating well and keeping your body hydrated, but avoid drinking too much water right before the test as it can dilute your urine.

While budget kits are technically accurate, chemical errors can sometimes occur in cheaper manufacturing. If you have missed your period or feel unusual symptoms, please get a professional blood test done at a lab for safety and absolute confirmation.
