Are pregnancy symptoms worse with twins?

We just found out we're expecting twins, and while we're super excited, I've been feeling extremely exhausted and nauseous already. My first pregnancy wasn't this intense. Is it true that symptoms are often worse when you're carrying twins?

Carrying two precious lives is a double blessing, but it does bring twice the physical strain on your body. Stay positive, keep your mind peaceful, and take gentle care of your health during this special time.

Yes, beta, when you have twins, the morning sickness and body aches can be quite heavy because of the double heat in the body. You can drink a little lukewarm ginger water for nausea, but remember to take plenty of bed rest and don't lift anything heavy.

I totally get it, carrying twins is exhausting and the extreme fatigue can feel so overwhelming sometimes. It is completely normal to feel double the nausea and exhaustion because your hormone levels are sky-high. Please give yourself permission to rest as much as you need.

My cousin had twins and her cravings were on another level! She was eating for three, honestly. The morning sickness was quite bad too, but she managed it by eating small, frequent bites of simple, bland snacks like toasted bread and roasted makhana.

Oh god, don't even ask! I survived a twin pregnancy and the heartburn alone kept me awake for months, let alone the constant urge to pee. It is definitely more intense, but honestly, once they are here, you won't sleep anyway, so I guess it just prepares you!
