Are period symptoms the same as pregnancy?

I'm trying to conceive, and every month I get confused because some early pregnancy signs feel exactly like period symptoms. Is it common for the symptoms of an upcoming period and early pregnancy to be almost identical? It's really hard to tell the difference!

Yes, symptoms like bloating, food cravings, and fatigue are common to both because of hormones. Keeping a clean, low-sodium vegetarian diet can help ease that bloating. However, a proper home test is the only reliable way to know for sure.

Look, both can feel exactly the same—cramps, breast pain, mood swings, everything. Don't waste time googling every symptom and getting stressed out. Just go to the pharmacy, buy a pregnancy test card, and check in the morning. It's that simple.

They are very similar, which is why so many women get confused every month. The most practical solution is to wait for the day your period is due. If it is delayed by even 2-3 days, just do a home urine test to get a clear answer.

At my age, I'm just tired of hormonal games altogether! But yes, back in the day, PMS and early pregnancy felt identical with all the backaches and bloating. Don't drive yourself crazy guessing; just do a quick doctor's checkup or test.

Yes, progesterone rises in both cases, which causes identical symptoms like fatigue and muscle soreness. If you're feeling low on energy, try to do some very light stretching. But obviously, to confirm pregnancy, a test or a visit to the doc is necessary.
